I dont know if this is every Saturday night or not. This campground is a great place to rest and relax while visiting the area. Located a couple of blocks off the highway, it is surprisingly quiet and tucked in amongst some nice old oak trees. There are 8 sites, some under the trees and some a bit more open, all with level surfaces and 30 amp electric service. The campground also has a paved walking path, playground, mini-golf course, and public pool, though the pool was closed when we visited in mid-September. The charge is $15, and seniors get a discount. You need to call city hall to reserve and go there to check in. The ladies at city hall were very friendly and accommodating. Police patrol the camping loop regularly, and there is a dump station across from the community pool. However, electric service can be unreliable and there are no tables, fire rings, or grills. There is a building nearby that is rented for parties, and on Saturday nights there can be loud music until midnight. There is also some road noise. We had 4 bars of ATT LTE. Overall, this is a nice, clean city park to stop and rest overnight or for a couple of days.
