The campground is located in a convenient location just south of Dumas. It offers level sites with good electric, but the restrooms and showers are reported to be disgusting, and work campers are said to be lazy. The park is full of gravel with no trees or grass, and is a muddy mess due to the unusually high amount of rain in the area. The office is not very inviting, and the internet does not work. The owner is making a financial effort to upgrade the sites, but it is still not a very pleasant experience for campers. Active duty and permanently disabled military receive a substantial discount.
