Cattlemens Ranch Campground is an older park located in the industrial area of El Paso, off the freeway interchange. It is close to the Mission Trail and offers a unique Old Mexico flavor. The sites are large pull-throughs on gravel, with electrical hook-ups close to the ground and no circuit breaker to turn off the power. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and the registration process is easy. The rate is $26.00 with no discounts offered. The park is well lit and controlled, and offers a safe feeling. However, it is close to the railroad tracks and the train whistle can be heard throughout the night. It is also close to the Golden Horseshoe, Wyler Aerial Cablecar, and The Horseblanket Store on Gateway E. Cattlemens Ranch is a half hour away and worth the drive.
