Braunig Lake RV Resort in Elmendorf, TX, used to be a well-maintained park with enough staff for the office, maintenance, and ground keeping. There are no visible security measures, and vehicles tend to speed through the park, particularly in the back. The guard shack at the entrance is not used as a security gate, and there is a lot of come-and-go traffic after midnight. Some guests have expressed concerns about this activity. If you have several vehicles or equipment to store, this park may be right for you. However, given the current state of the park, it may not be a place where everyone would feel comfortable staying.

Braunig Lake RV Resort is San Antonio’s premier RV Park and Campground. Conveniently located in San Antonio on Interstate 37 South at Exit 130 (3 miles south of Loop 410), we are just minutes south of downtown, the Alamo, the Riverwalk and the Alamo Dome. The resort offers 266 RV sites either daily or long-term and 4 cabins for monthly rental. The Lakeside Lodge Banquet Hall offers a matchless setting for all types of events from weddings to graduations to baby showers. The resort also features a 5-acre catch & release fishing lake, a relaxing pool & hot tub, and two meeting facilities that have multi-use potential for any event.
