This campground is a great place for families to take a short weekend trip. It is close to home and has plenty of activities for the kids, such as a water slide, lake beach, and paddle boats. The campsites are level and come with a picnic table and overhead cover. The lake is great for canoeing and offers a beautiful view of the sunset. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are too far to walk to and there are no showers. The campground is open and there have been reports of people shining lights in tents late at night. Memorial weekend visitors had full hookups for their trailers, but the playground had weeds and tall grass growing in it. The lake beach area was not open for swimming due to a lifeguard shortage.
