Upon arrival, campers are immediately greeted and escorted to their site with good hookups. While the sites are a little close together, the park has a lot to offer including the opportunity to see three longhorn cows. The park is strict about dogs being unattended outside but is somewhat lax about picking up after them resulting in dog poop throughout the park. It also has feral cats in the park, and a gravel dog park. The parks location is great, and while it may not be the best choice for larger rigs, it has a lot of potential with new parks being built in the area.

Bending Oaks Ranch RV Resort is an exclusively 21 or older RV park located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The resort is within a few short miles of the area's best attractions, including exclusive shopping, art galleries, elegant dining, and the famous National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg. The resort is nestled in the heart of the Texas wine country, two miles from Wildseed Farms and Fredericksburg Trade Days, four miles from Luckenbach and town, and across the road from Altstadt Brewery. The resort offers a country atmosphere with star-filled nights, and guests can meet the Longhorns and get their breakfast eggs straight from the yard girls. On nice evenings, local artists perform on the resort's stage. The resort offers rustic and upgraded camping cabins, a pool, pavilion, dog park, laundry room, Wi-Fi, and cable TV.
