Palms Campground is a very nice RV park located in West Texas. It features level, concrete pull-through sites with grass in between. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the environment is quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms are clean and upscale, and the park has mailboxes and is close to a grocery store, making it a great place to stay for a longer period. Although the roads and sites are all concrete, the first several rows near the office are not large enough for easy maneuvering of large rigs. There are only 5 washers and 5 dryers for the entire park, which can be challenging for the many full-time families living in the park. The water hookup is a bit low to the ground, but still manageable. The park is not big-rig friendly, but is a great option for those with smaller rigs.

The Rusty Boot RV Park is a refreshing, shady, green and centrally located RV park in Gardendale, Texas. It is especially suited for big rigs, with long, pull-through concrete pads, full hookups, city water, and with free cable TV, Wi-Fi and free laundry facilities. The park features a newly renovated recreation center with outside patio with a BBQ pit, picnic tables, pool table, jukebox, vending machines, and large-screen TVs with movie and sports channels. The whole park is concrete streets, with beautifully maintained lawns and trees. It is a garden spot of security, convenience, comfort and a fun home base to explore the authentic Texas character of the cities and people.
