What others are saying about this campground
Coleto Creek Reservoir and Park Guadalupe Blanco River Authority is a government-run park that offers a range of amenities. The park has a security gate that closes at midnight and reopens at 6am and provides moveable wooden and metal picnic tables, pedestal BBQ grills, and trash pickup at each site. The FHU campground has obvious homesteaders and offers one washer and one dryer in the toilet/shower facilities. The park has sufficient WIFI to live stream TV. The FHU loop is wide open, so there is no privacy, and there is little shade. The campground has lots of deer roaming around and many fire ant hills throughout the site. The grass on the campsites needs mowed, and the campfire ring is tiny. The nearest toilets/showers in the 64-83 campground are a 1/2 mile round trip, and there is no senior discount. While some reviewers felt that the park was overpriced for its gravel roads, they still loved everything else about this park.
