What others are saying about this campground
Henrietta City Park is a great spot for an overnight stay on your way through Texas. This campground offers 12 pull thru sites with full hookups, level gravel pads, and grass strips in between each site. The park is located off of Spur 510 near the intersection of City Park Road and Spur 510, and is a mile and a half off the freeway. The park is quiet, away from major highways and railroads, and offers excellent Verizon signal and a clear shot at the sky for satellite. There are ball fields nearby, so there is plenty of room to walk your pets. The park also offers a sewer connection, which is a rarity for a city park. The only downsides to this park are that tall rigs need to exit Hwy 287 at Hwy 82 intersection and go through town to access the 510 loop to the park, and the power pedestals are not RV-grade and have been known to dip below the minimum voltage. The restrooms have not been cleaned for a while and the garbage cans are overflowing with trash. The cost is $15-$20 per night, and can be paid at city hall. Advanced reservations are not necessary.
