This campground is located in a residential area, making it fairly quiet and peaceful. It has been around for ten years and has mostly long-term oil field workers and a few retired folks. The double wide cement slabs provide enough parking for two cars, and the voltage and water pressure are good. The pool and spa are advertised on the website, but they are not open due to the cost of heating them. The maintenance of the park is lacking, and the weeds can get tall since they dont mow very often. The restrooms, showers, and laundry room smell musty, and the WiFi is not great. The rates have gone up, but the quality of the park has gone down. The small stores inventory is not kept up, but a few items are available. Although there are rumors that they dont like kids, this has not been seen. The owner lives on site and can be rude about anything besides taking money. The park is convenient to a library and Jack-in-the-Box, and people feel comfortable leaving their rigs there for a few days.

Lily's By The Bay RV Resort is a family-owned campground located approximately 12 miles north of Galveston Beach and 12 miles south of Houston. The campground offers daily, weekly, and monthly rates and features large concrete back-ins and pull-thru sites in a tropical landscaped setting, with full hook-ups (30-50 amp), laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, satellite TV, phone service, fully stocked grocery and RV supplies, and is minutes from Gulf Greyhound Race Track and the Galveston County Schlitterbahn. The campground is open year-round and offers traditional Texas hospitality.
