This campground is a great place for a peaceful getaway. It is situated among lots of trees and offers plenty of shade. The staff is very friendly and helpful and have worked hard to make improvements since the previous reviews. The sites are smaller than advertised, so it may be difficult to fit a 30ft RV in the space, but the management is willing to allow visitors to park their trailer in a vacant spot for the duration of their stay. There are no amenities, but the pool and location make up for it. It is only 20 minutes to the beach in Galveston and the same to the Kemah Boardwalk. Wi-Fi is not available, but the management is working on improving it. This campground is a great base for visiting the area and is full of friendly people.

Little Thicket RV Park is a family-friendly campground located in La Marque, Texas. It boasts 60 full hook-up sites with both 30 and 50 amp hookups, concrete drives and pads, a clubhouse, a sparkling swimming pool, a playground, and regular activities for all ages. The campground is also the closest RV Park to the Texas City refineries, making it a quiet and comfortable home for refinery and plant workers. The campground is conveniently located near Galveston Island, Moody Gardens, and the Kemah Boardwalk.
