This campground is a quiet, rural park located off of Highway 281, halfway between Burnet and Lampasas. It is a small park with level, wide sites, some pull-throughs and some back-ins. The sites are a thin layer of gravel and grass, and the roads and paths to the campground are gravel and dirt. The park is clean and tidy, with good water and electric connections. There is no office, but there is a park host living in the first RV you encounter who is very helpful. There is a large wooded walking trail nearby, and the park is pet-friendly, but watch out for burrs. Verizon signal is good. The Passport America rate is cash or check. The only negatives are that some sites are not very level, and trees may scrape your rig. It is a good deal for an overnight stop or a few days if you have business in the area.

They offer RV spaces, tiny homes, and treehouses for rent, as well as storage units for extra RVs. Amenities include an on-site laundry facility, grills, and clean spaces. The campground is perfect for family adventures and exploring the central part of Texas. Monthly rates start at $375, weekly rates at $165, and nightly rates at $45 for 30-50 AMP lots.
