Safari RV Park is an older mobile home park with RV spaces that are pull throughs and level. It is conveniently located between Galveston Island and Houston and is close to stores, Space Center Houston, and Big League Dreams Park. The roads in the RV area are dirt and gravel and the restroom/laundry room area is only open for a limited time due to previous vandalism. The park has a few decent short term sites and the sites are level and have hookups for electric, water, and sewer. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the Passport America rate is a bargain. Unfortunately, the bathrooms and showers were not in good condition, and there were issues with roaming dogs and potholes on the drive to the sites. Despite these issues, the park is a good place to stay while touring the Houston and Galveston area.
