What others are saying about this campground
Nails Creek Unit in Ledbetter, TX is a beautiful state park that has nice and long asphalt lots with good spacing between them. Some sites are shaded, while others are open. The park appears to be nicely maintained, with many hiking trails that visitors can enjoy. There are also corrals for horses. However, the current state of the park is not ideal for water activities as the water is half a mile away from where it normally is, and there is no way to launch a boat. The temporary bathrooms are being rebuilt. It is important to note that some sites may have a small ridge, which could make leveling challenging for larger vehicles. Overall, the park is a peaceful and quiet destination that provides campers with an opportunity to relax, enjoy nature, and participate in a range of outdoor activities.
