Lewisville Lake Park Campground is quite the bargain for seniors who are able to stay for $10 a night with water and electric. This city-owned campground has a beautiful view overlooking the lake, with a nice laundry room, a dump station, and clean bathrooms. Despite being near the highway, its surprisingly quiet at night. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is kept neat and clean. The quality of the power and water is good, and there are two dump stations available. Be aware, however, that only one vehicle is allowed per site. Overall, its a great place to stay if youre looking for a budget-friendly option in a lovely setting.

From The Campground

Lake Park is a 662-acre park located along Lake Lewisville shoreline just east of Mill Street, approximately three-quarters of a mile east of I-35. The park is divided into four major areas including the golf course, the athletic facilities, day use areas, and a marina. The lake related uses include campgrounds, beaches, docks, boat ramps & picnic facilities, and attract many people from all over the region. The park offers a variety of amenities such as swimming beach, two boat ramps, two courtesy docks, Conner Pavilion, Pike Pavilion, group picnic area, RV Campground, Lake Park Golf Course & Executive Golf Course, Tom 'Old Man' McCutcheon Disk Golf Course, athletic facilities, and marina. Lake Park is also home to a variety of wildlife including a large number of bird species.
