What others are saying about this campground
Lake Livingston State Park in Livingston, Texas is a beautiful and well-maintained park with plenty of activities for visitors to enjoy. The paths along the lake offer stunning views for evening walks. The waterfront sites can get booked up quickly for weekends, so it is best to plan ahead. The park is mostly well-spaced with clean, nice concrete pads, and numerous full hookups, as well as elec/water to save a bit. There is a well-located and laid-out single dump station with turnouts to handle both directions. The park offers many flat hiking trails of varying distances, and their nature center has great programs for visitors. Activities available for checkout at the store include their junior ranger program. As with all Texas State Parks, there are daily entrance fees, although purchasing an annual pass can save money for regular visitors. The pass pays for itself at $70 in just a week for two adults. Visitors are sure to want to return to this wonderful park.
