This RV park is a rare find nestled among the trees in the Lubbock area. It features concrete pads for easy setup, a nice pool area, laundry room, and decent little gym. Unfortunately, the Wifi only works in the lodge, cable is cut, cockroaches are in the water bay, pool is not heated, no picnic benches, and no showers. The only downside is the location as far as pulling into the park itself is right off of an interstate and is a pretty tight turn off a somewhat busy road. There are no picnic tables or dog parks but there are some grassy areas for them. The sites are nearly all back-in, and the driveways feel a bit narrow, to make a degree of challenging when shade trees are near a space. The park is well-maintained and beautiful with lots of big shade trees and grassy areas. The electric and water hook-ups are placed oddly, but the water pressure is great. There is also a barrier wall, street lights, and security cameras all over for added safety. The only complaint is that the sewer connection is straight PVC pipe and too small diameter to use the doughnut. There is also no cable tv, and the wifi is nonexistent unless you go into the lounge/store. Despite these drawbacks, this is a great park with friendly staff and a convenient location.

The Retreat RV Resort is Lubbock's newest premier RV resort, located on 40+ acres of tree-filled grounds. The resort offers 394 full hook-up RV sites featuring concrete patios and 20/30/50 amp power. 57 of the RV sites are fully covered for your RV and vehicle. The resort is pet-friendly and offers top-notch amenities such as a commercial laundry facility, a large workout room, a cozy family room, and a heated swimming pool. The resort is conveniently located near shopping, dining, the medical district, and downtown Lubbock. It is also located near Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University, the Buddy Holly Center, and local wineries and breweries.
