This campground is a great place for an overnight stay, located an hour away from San Antonio. It offers a variety of amenities, such as a stocked fishing pond, a short walk to the river, swings on the big beautiful trees throughout the property, a kitchen with refrigerator space and cooking appliances, books and videos, a picturesque walking area, and a small swimming pool. The sites are level, partly shaded, and long enough for a 42 motor home and towed vehicle. AT&T provides two bars of LTE service, and there is fast Wi-Fi. There are also low hanging limbs and vehicles parked on the road that can make it hard to get out. The park manager is a great young man named David and the son-in law of the new owner. The campground is very clean and sites are closely monitored, and there is a mix of seasonal and permanent campers. Passport America is accepted at a rate of $12.50 per night and a monthly rate of $250. There is also a small but nice golf course just across the bridge from the park and the town of Luling is within a mile with some very good Bar B Que restaurants.

Patriot RV Park - Luling is a gated 20-acre riverfront park with access to the San Marcos River. The park offers concrete pad sites with 30 & 50 amp hook-ups, a swimming pool, catch and release fishing pond, full kitchen, showers & restrooms, and a recreation space. A convenience store is coming soon. The park is pet-friendly and offers a military discount.
