Bathrooms are clean and located a short distance away. Although the park suffered significant damage from Hurricane Harvey, it has been fully restored and is open for visitors. Village Creek State Park is located 10 miles north of Beaumont on the edge of the Big Thicket. The park offers a diverse range of activities including camping, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, geocaching, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Visitors can choose from campsites for tents and RVs, or rent the eight-person cabin. The park also offers guided nature and night hikes, stargazing programs, campfire talks, and other activities throughout the year.
