This RV park is a great no-frills family run campground with friendly people and a camp dog. It has a good on-site restaurant and is conveniently located near I-45. The gravel could use some refreshing, and the grounds can be a little muddy when wet. The owner is very friendly and gave a sample of their famous bread pudding, which is sold in grocery stores across east Texas. There is a little highway noise, but it isnt bad. There is no cable TV, but OTA (over the air) eleven channels worked fine. The RV park offers home made bread pudding for $15 for a pan at the office. The owners have plans to expand, with possibly a club house or recreational facilities. It is a bit pricey for what is currently offered, but it is a great spot for an overnight stay with clean laundry.
