Shiloh on the Lake is a great RV campground with lots of tall trees offering plenty of shade and a fabulous lake for swimming, boating and fishing. The sites are packed sand and can be difficult to manage when it rains, but the park is planning to add gravel to reduce this issue. The staff are very friendly and helpful, offering complimentary firewood to guests and escorting them to their site. There are two playgrounds and a volleyball court as well as a large dog play area. There is no TV, cable or WiFi at the park, but the nearby towns of Malakoff and Gun Barrel City are not far away. The campground is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the guests were all very courteous and kept quiet hours.
