This campground is located on the western edge of Marfa, Texas, just off Route 90. The views of Chinati Peak and the Davis Mountains are beautiful, and there are 8 new pull-through spaces with more room between them than the original 8. Unfortunately, there are no amenities such as bathrooms or showers, and the only way to check in is to fill out an envelope and put it in a slot with payment (cash only). There is also a small attendant booth that may not always be occupied. The campground is basic and offers few frills, but it is a solid option for a stopover if youre visiting Marfa or the western side of Big Bend State Park.
