Rocker D Campground is a great place to stay for a night or two. The sites are level and long, and the restrooms and showers are just across the street. The park is well maintained, with charming and efficient staff, and the wifi service is satisfactory. All sites have the Texas sun on the drivers side, and there is a veterans discount. There is some road noise from Hwy 281, but it gets quiet at night. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and there is free wifi with a strong signal. There is also good solid 50 amp electric and great water pressure. Pulling in with no reservations is possible, and there is a nice lady in the office. This is an ideal spot for a short stay while visiting family or while passing through.
