Lake Mineral Wells State Park in Mineral Wells, TX is a great place to explore. The staff is friendly, informative, and helpful. The park is clean and manicured. Though there are some areas, such as the sinks and bathrooms, which need work, overall the park is very clean and quiet. Some of the bathroom showers are in need of updating. The south end of the primitive camping area has plenty of cleared areas to set up camp and there are clear paths and a few places that have obviously been camped at. The northern end may require some searching to find the right spot. The sites have lots of trees which means there isnt much grass, which can make the sites dusty. The hiking trails are well marked and offer great views of the parks wildlife. There are lots of good places to eat in Mineral Wells, which is nearby. Its a great place to spend a few nights and explore the area.

Lake Mineral Wells State Park is a beautiful park located in Mineral Wells, TX. The park offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors to enjoy, including camping, hiking, rock climbing, and more. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is busiest from mid-March through mid-November. Entrance fees are $7 for adults and free for children 12 years and under.
