Cactus Rose RV Park is a great place for an overnight stay, located just off Interstate 20. The office may be closed when you arrive, but the host will assist you in finding a campsite. The sites are long and level, and the gravel is well maintained. All sites are fitted with full hookups, and each site has a concrete patio. You can relax at the small pool and game room, and there are several grill sites scattered around the park. The park is dog friendly; you and your dog can spend some quality time walking around the park. The bathhouses are clean and functional; the Wi-Fi worked well. The park hosts some long-term residents who add to the places charm. However, the highway noise is present throughout, which can disturb some people.
