AmeriCana RV Park is a great place to stay for visitors to the Rio Grande Valley. It offers big sites with ample shading and comfortable laid back atmosphere, under very large trees. The only negatives are that the pads are gravel instead of cement, water & electric hookups are too low to the ground, and sites near a busy road can have some traffic noise. There is a good laundry facility, WiFi in the recreation building, and friendly managers. Many Winter Texans come from across America and Canada, creating a friendly community atmosphere. There is heavy Mexican troop concentration to assure safety. There is a large flea market Wednesdays & Friday – Sunday, and the park is close to big box stores, eateries, movie theaters, malls and gas stations. There are also planned activities such as Spanish lessons, Bible Study, Exercise classes, Poker, Pokeno, Computer help and bike rides. There is a small pool and spa, and a Baptist church in the area. Upgrade to a premium site for the best experience.
