The facilities are well maintained and the grounds are attractive. The spacious sites are level, with plenty of room for our awning and slideouts, and the rest of the park amenities including an indoor pool, lots of activities and shows, and a weekly activity schedule make it the perfect destination for winter Texans. The Wi-Fi system has been successfully upgraded and is now reliable. Prices are reasonable for daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonal stay. The park is conveniently located near the Birding Center and offers many natural attractions in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Bentsen Grove Resort to anyone visiting the Rio Grande Valley. Bentsen Grove Resort (BGR) is an old 55+ only, gated resort facility in the Rio Grande Valley. It has 850 total spaces for motorhomes and fifth wheels, and 13 year-round apartments. Many Canadian visitors stay in the winter months, and there are plenty of activities and shows available. The park is clean and neat, and the Wi-Fi system has been upgraded to be reliable. Prices are reasonable for daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonal stays. The park amenities include an indoor pool, lots of activities and shows, and a weekly activity schedule. There are plenty of natural attractions in the area including the Birding Center. Visitors have found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the grounds are attractive. The park is great for the RVG and is highly recommended by those who have stayed.

Bentsen Grove Resort is a mobile home and RV park located in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. It is an active 55+ community that offers a variety of amenities and activities, including pickleball, a fitness center, Friday night dances, a theater, RV sites, a swimming pool, billiards, and shuffleboard. The resort is gated and considered a very safe place to live and play. Guests have praised the community for its supportive and friendly atmosphere, and many have chosen to make it their permanent home.
