Bentsen Grove Resort (BGR) is an old 55+ only, gated resort facility in the Rio Grande Valley. It has 850 total spaces for motorhomes and fifth wheels, and 13 year-round apartments. Many Canadian visitors stay in the winter months, and there are plenty of activities and shows available. The park is clean and neat, and the Wi-Fi system has been upgraded to be reliable. Prices are reasonable for daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonal stays. The park amenities include an indoor pool, lots of activities and shows, and a weekly activity schedule. There are plenty of natural attractions in the area including the Birding Center. Visitors have found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the grounds are attractive. The park is great for the RVG and is highly recommended by those who have stayed.
