Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort in Mission, TX is a well-maintained and beautifully landscaped park with concrete sites that are well spaced for privacy. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous, making it a great place to spend the winter months. The amenities are plentiful including clean restrooms and shower facilities, two large dog parks (one for large dogs, one for small dogs), a pickleball court, and billiards. In addition, the resort offers free bikes that you can borrow to ride to nearby Bentsen State Park. The resort also has a tiki bar, woodshop, horseshoe pits, and a pool. Reviewers commented on the wheel and spoke design of the park which makes for easy access for arrival and departure. The addition of a second pickleball court was appreciated by visitors. The only downsides mentioned were that rates seem to increase yearly without a significant increase in amenities and the pickleball courts can be slippery due to being painted concrete.
