Country Club Resort is a campground located in a slow moving country. It is a great choice for golfers and those passing through or just wanting a quiet park. The campground has lots of older permanent rigs, some for many years, and most spaces are occupied by full time area workers. The sites are wide and level, and the utilities work as they should. The office has an extensive WWII museum that is worth the visit. However, the pool is closed and drained and there is no Wi-Fi available. The sand is not very fine, so even in a strong wind it is not too bad. Water was shut down for a few days because of broken pipes. The ranger is rumored to like giving people a hard time both at the park and in town, and to run radar in the park. Country Club Resort is in need of lots of maintenance and up-grading, but it is an easy in and out of the Park and a fun place to explore.
