There is a swimming area, boat ramp, and nice beach area. Cedron Creek Park is set off Lake Whitney, outside of Whitney, TX. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake. The lake is clear blue water, and there are lots of deer that come quite close. It is a great spot for fishing and boating, and there is a good selection of shops to visit in Whitney. The campground is small with lots of trees, and some of the sites are a bit rough, but it is still a great getaway. The sunsets are beautiful, and the beach area is great for swimming. There are also nice lakefront pull-through sites with great views of the lake. The park roads are well maintained, and the park rangers are friendly and do patrol the park. The shower house is nice and clean, and there are plenty of people fishing on the lake. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake.
