Stay A While RV Park is a well-kept campground located in East Texas between Athens and Tyler, alongside a 4-lane highway. The grounds are peaceful and feature gravel roads, grass and trees. Amenities include a large pond/small lake onsite with geese, ducks and turtles; catch and release fishing; and walking trails. The office staff are friendly and the restrooms are clean. The road noise may be significant for some, but the owners have made great strides in making this a nice place to stay. The wifi and TV cable are not great but the park is a good basic spot without a lot of frills. There is plenty of shade and enough room to accommodate slides. It is a good weekend getaway when in the area.
