This campground is located in a beautiful area along the Guadalupe River, just outside of New Braunfels, Texas. It offers spacious, level sites with full hook-ups including water, sewer, 20, 30, and 50 amp service, and a picnic table and small BBQ grill. Although the campground is well kept, the bathrooms are not well maintained and the wifi is spotty and only available through a third party for an additional fee. The park has a friendly atmosphere, but there is no management presence after 4:00 pm, so there is no control over noisy campers. There are no cable TV, pool, playground, or other amenities, but the river provides a great setting for swimming, tubing, and canoeing. Guests must pay an entrance fee and an additional fee for any visitors, and there is a $40 per day fee for each vehicle over the allowed maximum of one. The park is generally quiet at night, but there is no guarantee.

From The Campground

Camp Huaco Springs is a 30-acre campground facility located on the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country. The campground offers over a mile of riverfront sites for primitive camping, electric camping, RVs, and cabins. The staff makes every effort to provide the best camping experience possible. Showers require tokens for $1.00 each and can be purchased at the store or from gate personnel. Quiet hours are between 12 AM and 8 AM. No pets, glass, styrofoam, fireworks, or firearms are permitted in the campground. Ground fires are prohibited in the RV sites but allowed at campsites.
