Landa RV Park and Campground is a basic campground located in New Braunfels, Texas, right on the Comal River. It is a great spot for tubing, fishing, and other water activities, and is a popular tourist destination. The sites are narrow, dirt, and level, with good hook-ups, although the boundaries are not well organized. The park is guarded by a gate with a card key entry, and is very secure. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, except for the assistant manager who is gruff and unfriendly. The roads are in bad shape, with dirt and mud, so they can be challenging to traverse. There is a lot of wildlife, including deer, birds, and fish. The train tracks are practically on top of the campground, and the freight trains pass by day and night, so it can be quite noisy. There are steep concrete steps leading down to the lower sites at the rivers edge. The riverfront sites are down in a valley, so Verizon service is spotty and over-the-air TV from both San Antonio and Austin is spotty but functional. Summer months can make it difficult to get a spot down by the river, and the spots are close together. The cost is a bit pricey, but for the location and activities it is worth it.

Landa RV & Campground is located in the beautiful historic town of New Braunfels, Texas on the banks of the Comal River. The campground offers sites for recreational vehicles, motor homes, campers, and tents. They have full hookups for 90 sites, electricity and water to other sites, and free WiFi where available. The campground also has shady areas, restrooms, showers, coin-operated laundry, disposal station, and pets are allowed on a leash. Tube rentals are available for guests to enjoy the excellent swimming in the clear Comal River. The campground is within easy walking distance of some of the best German restaurants, bakeries, principal stores, churches, and the historic downtown New Braunfels. Landa RV & Campground is directly across the Comal River from the Wursthalle, scene of the also international WurstFest held every November. This is definitely a family park so bring the kids!
