River Ranch RV Resort in New Braunfels, TX is a campground with a river behind some sites, which allows for swimming. The grassy area is nice for kids, and two dog runs are available for pets. The park is not far from the interstate, so there is some traffic noise. Also, there are large ducks and geese, so watch out for their noise and droppings. The sites are not always level, and speed bumps are very tall. If you want luxury amenities, this is not the place to be, but it is well-maintained. Some seasonal sites are present, and some rigs use blocks to elevate their tires. Although our stay was enjoyable, we found it to be overpriced for the quality of the campground.
