Sun Outdoors Texas Hill Country in New Braunfels, TX is a well-maintained RV resort with lots of activities for children, including playgrounds and pools. The park offers a small dog park, along with plenty of room to walk dogs. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the showers are clean with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, the road noise, coming from I35 traffic and frequent freight trains, can be disruptive. Guests staying in the E section may also experience problems, as the sites are tight and have elevated concrete patios that can make it difficult to position larger rigs. Some long-term residents drive too fast through this section, posing a safety risk. Despite these issues, most amenities are in good condition and the management was helpful in accommodating last-minute changes to reservations.
