This campground is a great destination for those looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. The park is full of tall trees, plenty of shade, and is very quiet. All sites have full hook-ups with water and electricity, as well as a picnic table. Unfortunately, there is no wifi, cable, bathrooms, or showers, but there is a laundry room and a fenced dog area. The park is conveniently located near the Polar Express, eateries, and town, and is about a mile off of US 287 south of town. The road to the campground has low branches and the paved road in the park is narrow. The owners have made many improvements since they bought it and the sites are hard dirt with asphalt roads. The gate is controlled by a key pad and you must call before arrival to open the gate. The rate is affordable, even in sub-zero temperatures when the water faucets are frozen. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the park is a great place to stay.
