GenieSummary
This campground is an older, run-down park with not many sites being rented out. The managers are bossy and not very friendly. Dogs are not allowed on the premises and the pet area is small. The sites are wide and deep enough to fit a vehicle in front of the RV, but they are paved and dirty. There is a large indoor pool and rec hall, as well as a full woodworking shop, stained glass area, and carving area. The Wi-Fi is free, but you must take your laptop into the Friendship Hall to access it. The price is higher than many other campgrounds, but the amenities and people make it a bargain. It is not recommended as a long-term winter spot, but it is perfect for a one-night stay.
From The Campground
Texas Trails is a gated RV community located in Pharr, Texas. The resort offers RV, park models, and mobile home sites for both seasonal and permanent guests. With two pools and a spa, there’s plenty of water activities to do, such as volleyball, water aerobics, and relaxing poolside. If you’re in the gaming mood, bingo, poker, dominoes, and card games are available to enjoy. If you’re looking to learn a new skill or hone old ones, there’s also ceramics, stained glass, wood working, and other hands-on activities. And did we mention our tennis courts and RC racing tracks? As part of the Rio Grande Valley, Pharr offers plenty of attractions: the Veteran’s Memorial, the Gladys Porter Zoo, the nearby South Padre Island and others provide a variety of activities for visitors. As for day to day conveniences, we’re located near several restaurants, grocery stores, and department stores.
