Cowboy Capital RV Park & Campground is located 6 miles outside of Bandera, Texas, which is known as the Cowboy Capital of the World. The park offers full RV hookups, tent sites, and washrooms, with daily, weekly, and monthly rates available. The sites are spacious and shady, with natural Cedar and Oak trees providing shade. Some tent sites have water and electricity access. Guests traveling with horses can make use of the horse pasture and corral, and leashed dogs are welcome. The park offers discounts for tubing on the Medina River, which is known for its scenic and exciting rapids. Other nearby activities include horseback riding, swimming and fishing on the Medina River, walking, cycling, and horseback riding trails in Hill Country State Natural Area and Los Maples State Park, and visiting the Cowboy Artist Museum in Kerrville and the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg. The park is also conveniently located near San Antonio, where guests can visit Fiesta Texas, Sea World, the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and the Missions.
