This campground is located 18 miles south of its destination and is worth the drive. The roads are excellent and the spaces are tight but long pull thrus allow ample parking for both vehicles. The park is located in a beautiful, hilly area and is close to groceries, gas, churches, schools, parks, and shopping. The old man who was host was very rude, the prices were jacked up due to a pipeline in the area, and bathrooms were nasty. However, the staff is friendly, the sites are level, and the park is large. The host was very accommodating and offered to help put a part on the RV that was sent via UPS. Although the campground is not resort quality, it offers a big heart atmosphere and a great Passport America price. It is only 1 1/2 miles from Lake Bob Sandlin, which is great for bass fishing, and there are local golf courses nearby.
