This campground is located close to North Dallas and is convenient for visitors looking to stay near the area. However, the park is run-down, with trash scattered throughout and dogs running around loose. The sites are close together and the park is very noisy due to its proximity to the freeway. The restrooms are not well-maintained, and the showers are barely big enough to turn around in. When it rains, there is a considerable amount of standing water, making it difficult to walk pets. Additionally, the park manager is rude and condescending. There are no cable TV or Wi-Fi services, and the HD TV off the antenna is a lesson in patience. There is also a $30 deposit required before arriving. Furthermore, local bums pull the trash out of the dumpsters and gunshots have been heard in close proximity to the motorhomes. For these reasons, this park is not recommended.
