Although some of the bathroom and shower buildings need repair, they are usable. The location is pet-friendly and offers activities like mini-golf, two pools and hot tubs, playground, and several outdoor games like ping-pong and foosball. The recreation center holds events for children on Fridays and Saturdays. The park also has a lodge equipped with a pool table and laundry facilities. If you are a fishing enthusiast, several areas are available to indulge in fishing. Though the cell phone service isnt the best and its a bit of a drive to the nearest town for groceries and supplies, overall, its a great experience coupled with a friendly and responsive staff that adds to the overall charm.

Lake Tawakoni RV Campground is an age-qualified resort that offers RV and tent camping, as well as rental units. The campground has two clubhouses, two pools, and a spa that are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. There is no fenced pet park, but leashed pets are welcome on the property. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The campground offers complimentary Wi-Fi at the Activity Center and The Lodge only. Paid services are provided by a 3rd party vendor. The property assumes no liability for the use or quality of these services. Due to extreme heat and drought conditions, boat ramp access and resort activities may intermittently be limited.
