Port A RV Resort is an attractive campground with concrete roads and parking pads. Some pads lack a patio area, so guests may have to step onto the grass to enter their RV. The park is located on the opposite side of 361 from the beach yet near Port Aransas. The park has been sold in late 2021, and since then, it has gone through three sets of managers. Some guests have reported that prices have increased significantly and amenities are now subject to additional fees. Some guests also reported poor treatment by the management team and hostility towards guests with complaints. Despite these negative reviews, many guests have had a positive experience and speak highly of the friendly employees and attractive campground.

The resort offers immaculate grounds, paved lots, cable and internet, and friendly staff. The facilities are well-kept, and the property is beautifully maintained. The RV park is just minutes away from beach fun like surfing, fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailboarding, and sunbathing.
