Long Island is an enjoyable campground located next to South Padre Island. It offers plenty of amenities including golf, swimming pools, hot tubs, and social events. The grounds are average with plenty of space between lots, making it a great place to stay. Although the park is overpriced and the grounds maintenance is less than average, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The park is very secure with a guard at the gate at all times. It is a great place for those looking for a relaxing vacation, but not for those looking for a traditional RV resort experience.
