The sites are mostly grass, but there is a deposit required for the remote to open the gate. It may be a bit older, but there is a lot of community spirit with regular fish fries, cribbage tournaments, live music, breakfast, and other events. Prices are reasonable, and the park is close to South Padre Island for beaches, seafood restaurants, and surf fishing. Port Isabel Park Center is a fully gated RV park located in the Southern tropical tip of Texas in the Historic town of Port Isabel, just before you cross the causeway to South Padre Island. The park offers a quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and great service. They are working towards becoming the best RV park for boating, fishing, and relaxing in south Texas. The park features a new Rec Hall pool, lighted fishing piers, floating boat docks, and spacious sites. They are just a short drive to several birding and wildlife refuges, the sun and fun of South Padre Island, and lots of great shopping and dining. Pets, tents, and pop-ups are always welcome.
