Texas Lakeside RV Resort is a very beautiful and well maintained gated RV park. It features a large clubhouse with a pool and hot tub, as well as a catch and release lake. The park is a great choice for those looking for a clean and safe place to stay while exploring the coastal area. There are a handful of transient sites, and the utility connections are excellent. The park also offers a fitness center, kitchen, laundry, meeting room, park store, and plenty of cable channels. Unfortunately, there is an EMS dispatch location on one side of the park, so there are sirens throughout the day and night. The laundry and restroom facilities are clean, but the noise from the sirens can be an issue. There is not a lot to do in the city, but there are basic fast food places, grocery stores, and Walmart nearby.
