Lighthouse Campground is a great spot for a quick getaway. With 15-20 RV sites right on the water near the marina, you can easily walk to the water’s edge and get in the lake. The sites are nothing fancy - grass pads, concrete picnic tables, but are convenient if you plan to spend the day in the lake. The marina store has basic necessities like food items, milk, some camping supplies, etc. There is an extra charge for 50 amp and pull throughs. The park is undergoing some major upgrades, with a pool and clubhouse, and the employees are friendly and helpful. There is a pay to play beach down the road and a small swimming area right at the campground. Unfortunately, the sites are situated very close to each other and can be difficult to back into depending on the size of your rig. The grass needs to be cut and the ground is boggy, making it difficult to keep leveling jacks down. There is an extra charge for dogs and no discounts are offered.
