Paradise Campground is a great spot for a weekend getaway on Lake Texoma, the 12th largest Corps of Engineers lake in the U.S. With 89,000 acres of surface area, the lake is a great spot for fishing for Striper, Catfish, Black Bass and Crappie. The campground has a variety of amenities, including cruise activities, kayaking, swimming, and a hammock garden. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campground offers both primitive and full hookup sites. There are also tiny homes and cabins for rent. Cell service is strong and the only noise is the sound of the lake and the birds and critters. The only downside is that the beaches can be unclean. The campground is located off Highway 120 just west of Pottsboro, and is a great spot for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
