Sites are nicely spaced but some of them have significant slope. They are all shaded by large oak trees and have a covered picnic shelter, metal fire ring and cooking grill. The campground is mostly quiet except for the occasional traffic noise from Hwy 31. There is a friendly camp host and a security gate that is closed nightly. America the Beautiful pass holders receive a discount.
