Rocky Point in Queen City, TX is a great campground with friendly staff and spacious sites. The lake has a gorgeous view and its recommended to choose a lake view lot if possible. The park is quiet and clean, and visitors are likely to see a lot of deer. The staff that checked us in were courteous, friendly, and helpful. The park has a great place to unhook and offers access to a hiking trail which is very nice. The only issue is that the road layout can be confusing for larger RVs. The bathhouse and restrooms were cleaned daily and had good water pressure and temperature. All of the sites offer a decent view of the lake. The area is mosquito-prone, so bringing repellent is advised. Overall, it makes for a great spot to camp.
