There are no trees for shade, but the sites are open to satellite reception. There is an occasional freight train nearby, but no train horns so noise is not an issue. The El Rancho Cafe is nearby for home-made chicken fried steak, and Loves Truck Stop is close for easy fuel and air. This is an inexpensive, safe place to stay with friendly hosts and a pretty level site.
